Emmerdale spoilers tease heartbreaking exit for Cain Dingle after 26 years

Emmerdale is set to air worrying scenes for Cain Dingle as he’s involved in a serious car accident.

In recent episodes of the ITV soap, life has been hard on Cain (Jeff Hordley) after his wife Moira (Natalie J Robb) was locked up in prison for crimes she didn’t commit.

Cain is also facing a worrying cancer diagnosis before he was forced out of Butlers after Moira sold her share of the farm to Kim Tate (Claire Tate), which has sparked a feud between the Dingles and the Tates.

Next week, there’s some good news for Cain when he discovers that Moira’s murder charge is likely to be dropped, but she is still facing criminal charges for complicity in modern slavery and requires an MRI scan.

Liam Cavangh (Jonny McPherson) conjures up a plan that allows Moira and Cain to secretly meet up at the hospital for a secret ren

dezvous. Cain finally confides his fear about his forthcoming operation for prostate cancer, which Moira reassures him they will face together.

The exchange leaves a troubled Cain feeling much happier, and later, he hands his son, Kyle (Huey Quinn), the keys to his newly running car before heading to the hospital.

However, while on the phone with Moira, telling her he thinks everything will be okay, Cain is hit by a car.

Kyle is frantic as he finds his dad, Cain, unconscious, while Moira, still on the phone call, can hear all of the drama unfolding, and tries to figure out what’s going on.

Elsewhere, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) follows Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) to Home Farm after he catches her lying about a house call, and she quickly helps Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), who was beaten by a gang after terminating a contract.

The unexpected intimacy leads them to almost kiss, and a devastated Marlon witnesses it in secret.

Unable to keep it in any longer, Marlon asks Rhona if she still loves Graham. The vet tries to explain her feelings to her husband, but will she break his heart?

Later, Rhona meets Graham with a big decision, and the next day Graham leaves Marlon and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) astonished after taking the wrong meaning from a conversation with Marlon. Heading out, Graham gets into his car and sets off at speed.
