Emmerdale Dawn’s heartbreaking exit storyline ‘unveiled’ after soap ‘axe’
Emmerdale fans are certain they have rumbled Dawn Taylor’s exit storyline and it’s not looking good for the beloved character.
Dawn (Olivia Bromley) made her debut on the ITV show back in 2018 – and it didn’t take her long to get involved in several big storylines in the famous village.
From curbing her drug addiction and turning to sex work, Dawn’s time in the village has not been short of drama. Especially recently, as last year she shocked fans when she started an affair with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).

Dawn, a mum to Lucas Taylor, adopted daughter Clemmie Reed, and son Evan Fletcher, cheated on husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) with Joe. The truth eventually came out and Joe and Dawn have continued their romance.
However, it was recently reported that the soap had dropped Olivia Bromley after playing the character Dawn for the past eight years, with the actress set to film her final scenes later this year.
According to The Sun, her co-stars on the ITV soap have been left furious over her axing, with a source saying: “Olivia is adored by e

veryone at Emmerdale, so the decision to axe her has not gone down well at all.”
They claimed: “She’s a popular member of the cast, and if they can get rid of Olivia, then the feeling is virtually no one is safe. Olivia understood their decision and is preparing to film her exit in the coming months.“

Following reports of Dawn’s soap exit, fans are convinced they’ve rumbled how she leaves.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person mused: “Wonder how Dawn will get written out?” Someone else suggested: “I have a feeling she is going to have a tragic exit.”
A third chimed in: “Hmmm yes like Kylie Platt’s in Corrie leaving Billy to raise the kids alone,” referring to Kylie’s (Paula Lane) being killed off in 2016. Another person wrote: “Wouldn’t surprise me if they kill her off.”
Dawn’s reported exit comes just months after ITV announced it would cut its soap coverage across Coronation Street and Emmer

dale.
It has to an exodus of cast members, including Lesley Dunlop (Brenda Walker), Roxy Shahidi (Leyla Harding), Natalie Ann Jamieson (Amy Wyatt), Dean Andrews (Will Taylor) and Paula Lane (Ella Forster).
