‘Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan Supports Nicole Kidman in First Public Appearance After Keith Urban Separation
Nicole Kidman made her first public appearance recently following her recent separation from her long-time husband, Keith Urban, and was seen with one of her more recent but frequent collaborators. Over the weekend, Taylor Sheridan attended the Dallas amFAR event to support the charity’s work in AIDS research and prevention, and he received the Award of Inspiration. His Lioness star Nicole Kidman was there to present him the award, marking the first time she had been seen in public after her separation. The two took several photos together, both looking happy and healthy.
During her speech while presenting Sheridan with his award, Kidman said, “I think what Taylor recognizes, as we all do, is that we are all more alike than we are different, and that we’re better when we look out for each other.” She continued, “That, of course, is why we’re here tonight. What better way to support, to elevate our common humanity, than to help fund bold and innovative research?” Sheridan isn’t known for being a very public-facing figure, particularly after his shows have taken off so much in the last few years. Still, it’s good to see him out supporting Kidman while she also supports him.
Kidman and Sheridan have been working together since 2023 on Lioness, the hit spy thriller series that also stars Zoe Saldaña and Morgan Freeman. The show aired its second season last year, and after its uncertain fate hung in limbo for the better part of a year, Paramount finally confirmed recently that another season of the show is in the works. Lioness Season 3 also recently began filming, and even added Yellowstone veteran Ian Bohen to its cast in a recurring role.
When Does ‘Landman’ Season 2 Come Out?
Sheridan’s next big project after Yellowstone has been Landman, which aired its first season last year and was swiftly renewed for a second season. After wrapping filming over the summer, Landman Season 2 has been set for release on November 16, almost exactly one year after the Landman Season 1 premiere. Paramount even released the first official trailer for Landman Season 2 last week, showing stars Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore back in the West Texas oil fields. Sheridan also has other shows, like Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown, filling out the rest of the year.
