Slow Burn Sunday: Taylor and Deacon’s Love Story is Just Getting Started on B&B
This week’s slow-burning storyline involves Taylor and Deacon on The Bold and the Beautiful. The two have been chemistry-tested lately, and fans are eager for more.
What’s Next For Taylor?
According to the B&B fall preview, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) will have a new man in her life. She’s been mourning the end of her engagement to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), who has since returned to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).
The two had a quickie marriage to solidify their love. Meanwhile, Taylor wants to focus on her work, which is a good thing because Deacon (Sean Kanan) will need her. (Did Sheila’s betrayal send Deacon into Taylor’s orbit on B&B?)
The last time we saw him, he got into a heated argument with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), who finally revealed the truth to him. Her granddaughter, Luna (Lisa Yamada), is still alive and causing chaos in Los Angeles.
Deacon left Sheila at Il Giardino and stumbled into Taylor’s office. He thought he was going crazy and hoped Taylor could help him.
The ongoing drama involving Luna could bring these two closer together. They already agree on one thing: that Luna is a psycho who needs to go back to jail.
Deacon is wondering whether he was crazy to think he could be happy with someone like Sheila, who’s also a convicted murderer. Meanwhile, Taylor is still coming to terms with loving a chronic waffler.
This storyline could finally convince her to move on with a new man, whether that is with Deacon or not. She could finally feel what it’s like to not be the second choice.
Will Deacon Finally Leave Sheila?
Sheila has done nothing but pacify Deacon and lie to him for a long time. She is desperate to have a relationship with her granddaughter.
In the end, she chooses her family over the men in her life. But that’s because she has family members who want nothing to do with her.
Deacon should take a page from Sheila and lean on his family during this time. The good thing is that his kids don’t have a rap sheet. They could give him some sound advice.
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Deke (Harrison Cone) could help Deacon convince him to finally move on from Sheila. (Does Deke want to secretly break up Deacon and Sheila on B&B?)
Deacon has been under her spell for years, and it’s time for him to wake up. Taylor and Deacon’s respective love lives have been far from perfect. Hopefully, their heartbreak and shared hatred for the crazed will lead to a deep and passionate love affair.
