Nick Newman and his son Noah are neck-and-neck in the Super Bowl of Bad Decisions on Young and the Restless

Nick Newman and Noah Newman compete to see who can make worse decisions on Y&R. Both left the hospital early and both want to catch Matt Clark.

NICK NEWMAN AND HIS SON NOAH COMPETE TO SEE WHO CAN BE MORE RECKLESS ON YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Nick Newman and Noah Newman are in a fierce competition to see who can make dumber decisions on Young and the Restless. Nick yelled at Noah for leaving the hospital early, then did the exact same thing. Now both want to take down Matt Clark solo. This should end well!

The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From the Tree

Confirmed on Young and the Restless, the apple does not fall far from the tree. Nick Newman and his son Noah are having some sort of contest to see which one can be more stupid than the other, and the competition is fierce. Nick totally got on Noah’s case for signing himself out of the hospital in L.A. before he was ready after a serious car accident. Then Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) did the same damn thing at Memorial Hospital in Genoa City.

Now, which Newman will win this contest? It’s like the Super Bowl of Stupidity on Young and the Restless!

Y&R’s Super Bowl of Stupidity: Nick vs Noah

What a match up! Nick versus his son, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams). It’s the apple versus the tree, and it’s going to be close!

Noah behaving the way he has been is one thing, as he’s an adult man-child who has been coddled by his parents in the style of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) on the other side of Genoa City. Noah’s stupidity, in large part, has been instilled in him via his upbringing. What a waste of a Newman for the long-term. How is Noah possibly going to carry on whatever type of legacy The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) leaves behind on Young and the Restless?

As for Nick, he barely knows what he’s doing personally and professionally. He once ran New Hope and tried to pass the torch to his son Noah when he was portrayed by Rory Gibson. Noah had zero interest. Now there’s no hope for Noah on Y&R.

It’s Going to Take More Than One Laid-Up Dude to Catch Matt Clark

Noah was going to catch Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) on his own. Now Nick is going to catch Matt Clark on his own.

Question: Nick Newman broke his leg, had surgery, and signed himself out of Memorial before he was ready to be discharged. It looks like he forgot a crutch. Why is Nick hobbling around with one crutch? Was Memorial Hospital out, or is Nick Newman that stupid?

Father and son understand that Matt Clark is his own version of nuts and out of control. Yet, how can either of these two Newmans be confident they can take him down on their own, let alone by teaming up? Nick JUST tried to take down Matt Clark by himself and ended up in a serious car crash with a broken leg. Why, in everything in soap opera world, did he hobble over to the Abbott Estate with one crutch, demanding Matt Clark?

Matt Clark Is Laid Up in Nick’s Trunk… WTF?!

Seriously, how long is THIS going to last? Like Matt Clark can’t get out of a trunk. He isn’t dead, and he’s going to wake up. Yes, Nick said he’s going to “take care of Matt Clark” himself, but what does that even mean? Have Young and the Restless fans not already seen this movie?

Now, Noah is chiming in and wants to help. It would really be in everyone’s best interest if Noah went back to bed with his girlfriend, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), and stayed freaking there. Noah Newman is Nick Newman Junior. He doesn’t listen to a damn thing. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has told her son to stay home over and over again. Yet, Noah continues to disobey and ends up putting his family in more and more trouble.
