NBC is confirmed to deliver up another brand new episode of their hit crime/drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit tonight, October 2, 2025, and it will feature a very intense crime, taking place at an elite social club and more. This episode is the second one for this current season 27.

According to NBC’s official, episode 2 press release information, the writers decided to name/title this episode, “A Waiver of Consent.”

This episode will feature new scenes from Dominick Carisi. Chief Tyan, Olivia Benson, Joe Velasco and more.

The first spoiler scoop is telling us that at some point, a member of an elite social club will end up, getting violently assaulted. This crime will prompt Dominick Carisi to work this case. During it, Carisi will have to try and convince some witnesses to come out of hiding to give up some intel even though the club has very strict confidentiality rules about that kind of stuff.
