LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT Exclusive Clip: Bruno and Griffin Are Suspicious of a Missing Woman’s Boyfriend in ‘Showdown’

On the Thursday, November 20 fall finale of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, a woman is reported missing—but the squad is suspicious of what actually happened.
In an exclusive clip from “Showdown,” Bruno (Kevin Kane) and Griffin (Corey Cott) are on the scene, talking with the woman’s boyfriend, Greg (Joshua Leonard), about what he can recall.
“And when I woke up, the guy was wrapping my entire head in duct tape,” Greg explains in the video below. “And then he pinned me down, and that’s when I realized that he had wrapped my wrists, too.”
Greg tells Bruno he didn’t get a good look at the perp, but he did hear the person’s voice: “He sounded like a robot.”
Griffin is clearly confused, and Greg acknowledges that it seems weird. “Look, I know,” Greg says. “All I could figure was that he was using some kind of voice-altering technology.”
At Griffin’s prodding, Greg continues: “And then it sounded like he was assaulting her, and I didn’t do anything, because I didn’t want him to kill her.”
But Bruno and Griffin get noticeably suspicious when Greg’s story gets a bit more far-fetched. “And he kept saying that he had cameras and lasers set up watching me,” Greg explains. “And that if I didn’t remain still for at least three hours that he would kill her.”
“I did what he told me to do,” he continues. “I stayed there, and I waited for what felt like three hours, and then, when I finally got myself out, Nikki was gone.”
Bruno tells Greg they’re going to find her, but they need him to come down to the precinct with them—and Greg quickly agrees.
