Harrison Ford Has Revealed Jacob Dutton’s Fate After 1923
Since 1923′s finale, Harrison Ford has pondered the fate of his character. He even has his own ideas about how Jacob could fit into Taylor Sheridan’s next Yellowstone prequel, 1944. When questioned about returning to Yellowstone in flashbacks, Harrison Ford said, “I’m still alive,” joking about a more active role for his Dutton character, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Jacob Dutton would be roughly 100 in the next saga, so it’s true that he could still be alive. The last time audiences saw Jacob, he seemed well and suggested he was going to take it easy. Therefore, Ford joked that he would return if Sheridan “asks nice,” with the caveat that he has “no idea” what his plans are.
