EastEnders has lined up an explosive row for the Slater family next week, as Jean learns that she is suspected of being the perpetrator of Zoe’s sinister threats. It is set to be a difficult time for the iconic clan, as long-standing relationships are truly put to the test.

This week, Zoe’s stalker struck again and wrote a terrifying threat on the door of the barrel store. But an earring was left at the scene, and Zoe was convinced that whoever it belongs to is the culprit.

While this clue sent Zoe on another investigation, Kat and Alfie were left stunned when they discovered that the earring is Jean’s – and realised that she might have acted on her hatred for Zoe.

Zoe remains unaware of this though, so next week Kat takes matters into her own hands and quizzes Jean over the missing earring. She’s reluctant to believe this theory but she tries to work out whether Jean is Zoe’s tormentor, but things go wrong and fractures appear in the Slater family.

Zoe is left shocked, not only by Jean’s outburst, but by the fact that Kat and Alfie failed to tell her the truth about the owner of the missing earring.

However, it seems that Jean has done enough to convince her family that she’s innocent. Kat and Alfie later tell Zoe that Jean isn’t stalking her, and she rages at them for letting Jean pull the wool over their eyes.

As the week continues, Kat and Alfie are driven mad by calls from a mystery number to both their mobiles and the landline at The Vic. Unsurprisingly, Zoe is convinced that Jean is behind these nuisance calls, but the Moons don’t believe that this is the case.

Zoe feels alone and like she isn’t being listened to, but thankfully Anthony is around to support her. After she has a huge row with Jean, Zoe heads to see Anthony – though what happens next is being kept under wraps.

Things then take another sinister turn when Zoe finds a Christmas card left at the pub that’s addressed to her, containing a threatening message…
