EastEnders’ George pledges to get rid of Kojo after shocking event

EastEnders’ Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) has found himself caught up in Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) drugs ring, through no fault of his own, and soon things are set to get even worse for him.
Ravi and Okie had been using Kojo’s flat as the headquarters of their operation, and next week George and Junior Knight (Colin Salmon and Michael Balfour) must support him through his desperation to return there.
When the two men are distracted by a discussion with Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) about missing Xavier, Kojo takes the opportunity to sneak back into his flat.
However, there is horror awaiting him, as he comes face-to-face with Okie, who demands to know what he told the police.
Okie instructs Kojo to text Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), and soon he arrives to find Okie threatening Kojo with a knife.

As Harry rushes to his defence, Kojo flees, and the subsequent fight results in Harry stabbing Okie, before Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) – having spoken to Kojo – rushes in to help.
After losing his temper with Ravi, George finds Kojo, and is alarmed.
George and Junior struggle to remain civil over the recent events, and the pressure continues to mount when Junior reveals that he’s booked a flight back to Dubai.
To make things even tougher, George gets a text from Kobina, who insists that Kojo go back to Ghana.

When George attempts to make amends with Junior, their truce hits an obstacle when Junior learns of George’s plan to send Kojo to Ghana.
Having overheard, Kojo panics and insists that he’s not going.
Junior manages to calm Kojo down, and tries to convince George that they’ll be able to keep Kojo safe in the Square.
Will George agree, and will they really be able to protect Kojo?
