EastEnders fans ‘work out’ who will take down Ravi amid drugs story
EastEnders fans reckon they’ve ‘worked out’ who will return to Walford and take down Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) amid his drugs operation.
As viewers of the BBC One soap know, Ravi returned to the narcotics underworld when Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) stole a significant amount of cash from the family’s businesses, effectively leaving them on the brink of bankruptcy.
After receiving a contact – and a stark warning – from Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), he hid the stash in his car and employed associate Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) to distribute them.
Ravi then made a deal with Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) to keep the vehicle in The Arches… and it wasn’t long before the drugs were discovered by Kojo.
Spooked by the situation, he took the drugs home and flushed them down the loo. Harry has since had to implement some damage control by working for Ravi and save his best mate’s skin.
Ravi and Okie then also started using Kojo’s flat as a drugs den, which has had catastrophic consequences.
Firstly, Kojo was given pills to ‘calm him down’, and more recently, has been sent to do drop-offs around London on Okie’s behalf.
Nicola rushed to Harry’s rescue this week, paying off his debt with Ravi – but that didn’t save Kojo. Her ex-husband Teddy (Roland Manookian) then got involved, planting a hidden camera in the flat.
But now that the camera has been found, and Ravi is closing in on Harry, where will the story pan out?
Well, some fans reckon that his half-brother Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) could well be the one who brings him down.
Who was Kheerat in EastEnders?
The popular character made his final appearance in November 2022, after he decided to take the rap for Ranveer Gulati’s (Anil Goutam) murder, a crime that was actually carried out by his mum Suki (Balvinder Sopal).
Ranveer, as viewers know, was struck by Suki when he attempted to sexually assault her, which is what is believed to have caused the sleazy businessman’s death.
Ravi, however, is the killer, as he fatally struck his adoptive dad – who was actually still alive at this point – when assisting Suki with getting rid of the body.
Kheerat, meanwhile, came to his mum’s aid, refusing to let her go down for years, sacrificing his own freedom to protect his beloved mother.
