‘Bold & the Beautiful’ Fans Are Asking the Same Question: ‘Where Is Thomas?’
Thomas Forrester fans were thrilled when Matthew Atkinson returned to “The Bold and the Beautiful” last month, reprising his beloved role. Many were hopeful that his comeback would usher in a fresh storyline for the fan-favorite character after being away for a long time.
However, it didn’t take long for viewers to notice that Thomas seems to have been quietly sidelined once again. This leaves fans wondering, “Where is Thomas?”
‘The Bold & the Beautiful’: Thomas Goes MIA Again
The last time viewers saw Thomas was on the September 16 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful”, where he surprisingly made peace with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Sure, Thomas’ return was expected to be brief since he’s currently on recurring status. Still, appearing in just at least four episodes after such a long absence feels far too short, especially for a fan-favorite character with so much unfinished business.
Thomas definitely has a lot of potential storylines on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” The show could have easily explored his failed engagement with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) or looked into his seemingly changing relationship with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
More family drama or a new love interest could have been exciting directions to take as well. Thomas hasn’t even had scenes with his sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), or his ex, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), since his return.
Fans React to Thomas’ Apparent Exit
“The Bold and the Beautiful” fans shared their thoughts about Thomas and his apparent exit from the show.
Someone wrote, “Wow. That’s almost insulting. Bring him back for a freak-out, one moment of ‘clarity’ and he’s gone. Poof!”
Another commented, “I think the only reason he was on was that he was a stand-in for Steffy since JMW is on maternity leave.”
A viewer pointed out, “He just disappeared like RJ. There was absolutely no need to bring him back just for a couple of weeks. With everything he was saying, I thought they were building a storyline. If he’s NOT gone, this is just crazy disjointed.”
Another chimed in, “And that moment [with Brooke] wasn’t even realistic. Or somebody like Thomas, of course, he’s going to change his mind as soon as he walks out of the room, or speaks to his mother.”
So far, it remains unclear if Thomas has exited “The Bold and the Beautiful” again.
