Daytime drama fans who know Denise Richards as Shauna Fulton on The Bold and the Beautiful, probably felt a bit sad to see her in a completely different role this week. It came during a real-life courtroom where she claimed that her ex, Aaron Phypers, left her shattered and afraid.

Violent Accusations

Denise Richards gave testimony on Tuesday during a hearing for a restraining order against Aaron Phypers. During the appearance, the actress described what she claimed was abusive behavior. According to her, the abuse escalated soon after she underwent a facelift and tummy tuck.

The occasionally recurring B&B star alleged that during one attack Phypers hit her on the head and demanded her phone, leaving her feeling “broken and defeated and so alone.”

More allegations followed. She claimed she woke up to him squeezing her head so hard it felt like he was “crushing my skull.” Furthermore, the real-life Shauna Fulton claimed that Aaron threatened she would “disappear” if she contacted the police.

Desiring A Permanent Restraining Order

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Denise Richards’ character Shauna often came across as a fun-loving and happy character. Richards became a fan favorite and featured in more than 100 episodes. And, though she hasn’t been on screen for a few years, fans still miss her a lot.

Nevertheless, the execs didn’t close the door on her potentially returning in some episodes. But, if there’s any truth to the allegations, real life seems a lot harder than any on-screen drama.

Outside of Genoa City, Denise Richards featured in movies like Starship Troopers and Wild Things. Additionally, Bravo fans know her well from her appearances on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Sometimes, Aaron also appeared on the show.

Fans who follow Denise heard that Aaron previously married Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan. However, they quickly split and in 2018, he proposed to and then married Denise in double-quick time. In fact, they were only engaged for two days.
