Nicole Kidman Presented an Award to Yellowstone Creator Taylor Sheridan
The actress, who appeared on Sheridan’s CIA drama Lioness, made a speech about the creator at her first public appearance since filing for divorce.
Taylor Sheridan’s shows may have notably been snubbed at the Emmys last month, but he received a very different kind of award over the weekend. At the Dallas amFAR auction, supporting the charity’s work in AIDS research and prevention, Sheridan was presented the Award of Inspiration, by none other than Nicole Kidman.
The duo have worked together on the Sheridan-created Paramount+ series Special Ops: Lioness (AKA Lioness) where Kidman plays CIA official Kaitlyn Meade; the star is also an executive producer on the series.
“I think what Taylor recognizes, as we all do, is that we are all more alike than we are different, and that we’re better when we look out for each other,” Kidman reportedly said in a speech while presenting the award. “That, of course, is why we’re here tonight. What better way to support, to elevate our common humanity, than to help fund bold and innovative research.”
