Taylor Sheridan’s hit spy thriller series just got a massive Season 3 update. News broke this afternoon that Yellowstone veteran Ian Bohen has joined the cast of Lioness Season 3 as production on Sheridan’s hit spy thriller begins. Better yet, Bohen has been cast in a series regular role and is expected to appear in every episode as Grady, a “by-the-book Delta Force operator and primary K9 handler who is extremely skilled in battlefield tactics.” Production on Season 3 is now underway in Texas at Sheridan’s massive SSG Studio, which was also the home to production of Landman Season 2.

Bohen is best known for his role as Evan in Wind River, the 2017 Western written and directed by Sheridan that stars Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner. He’s also famous for playing Ryan in all five seasons of Yellowstone. Bohen joins other series regulars from the first two seasons who are confirmed to come back in Season 3, including Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, and Morgan Freeman. It was reported earlier this summer that a third season of Lioness was being discussed, but Paramount needed some time to come out with the official announcement. That came just last week.

Sheridan’s SSG Studio, which is now home to the Lioness Season 3 production team for the next few months, has been a hot topic of late. Hollywood is reportedly growing increasingly worried that Sheridan is developing too much power, now with his own studio with far more appetizing incentives than anywhere in Los Angeles.
