The Young and the Restless Wednesday, December 31 Recap: Cane & Lily’s Midnight Kiss – Daniel & Tessa Hit the Sheets

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Wednesday, December 31, reveals that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will share a midnight kiss while Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) hit the sheets.

Young & Restless Spoilers December 31: Tessa Pursues Daniel

At Crimson Lights, Tessa will play guitar with Daniel before he finally gets her to open up about the latest Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) news.

It turns out Mariah left the clinic in Boston and headed west before heading south.

Tessa will admit she found out through a tracking app, but Mariah texted a response after she left her a couple messages.

Unfortunately, all Mariah said was that she’d checked herself out and that Tessa shouldn’t expect to hear from her.

Tessa will realize she’s lost Mariah and will just want to feel loved tonight, so Daniel will take her back to his bedroom.

After Tessa insists she’s sure about this, they’ll hit the sheets and confirm they have no regrets in the aftermath.

The Young and the Restless Wednesday, December 31 Recap: Cane & Lily's Midnight Kiss – Daniel & Tessa Hit the Sheets | Celeb Dirty Laundry

At the GCAC, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will run into Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so they’ll address his latest Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) decision before talk turns to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Kyle will plead with Victoria to stand up to Victor and help Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) convince him to back off Jabot.

Victoria will agree to see what she can do to restore peace, but she won’t be able to make any promises.

While Victoria and Kyle ring in the new year together, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will do the same at Society.

After a takeout bag mix-up with Adam, Sally will admit Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) got stuck out of town after flying out on last-minute business.

Since Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have the flu and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will be busy with a computer game, Adam will stay and eat with Sally at the restaurant.

Sally and Adam will have a nice conversation until he brings up concerns about Billy going off the rails again.

However, Adam will be able to tell that Sally shares his fears deep down.

Y&R Recap: Adam and Sally Have Dinner and Reminisce, Cane Kisses Lily

After the midnight countdown on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Adam and Sally will clink glasses as they discuss some positive resolutions for the new year.

On Cane’s train, he’ll assume he’s going to spend New Year’s Eve alone, so he’ll be pleasantly surprised when Lily arrives.

Lily will argue that she’s not sticking around and that their time together at the launch party was a mistake if it gave Cane false hope.

Cane will wonder what changed since he thought they had a blast.

It’ll take some pushing, but Lily will finally blurt out that she saw Cane kissing Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Lily will want lying Cane to stay away from her, but he’ll insist Phyllis kissed him and that he ended that lip lock.

Once Cane rants about Phyllis’ agenda, he’ll make it clear that Lily is the only woman he’ll ever love.

Cane will take a walk down memory lane and move in close as he urges Lily to stop pretending they don’t belong together.

Lily will seem overwhelmed by her emotions as she lets Cane pull her into a passionate kiss.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will have some tough emotions to work through, so stay tuned for updates on what’s next for her.
